In Short
Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.

This is a nice place to hang out in, to have dessert and a drink. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I had some hot chocolate. It didn't impress me as it was not very chocolatey. Really tasted more like hot milk with a hint of chocolate in it. It was sure a large serving, tho. Their asiago bagels and cinnamon crunch bagels, however, are delicious.

Paneras has the most amazing smells coming in the door, but the bread itself is amazing. Sandwiches or take two, where you pick 1/2 a sandwich or salad and soup. The food is good and wireless internet along with comfy couches are a plus. The only bad part is they are always busy, so prepare to wait in line. PROS: Great food and internet CONS: always busy
