Big City Sushi. I have eaten Sushi at some of the finest restaurants in New York, California, and Las Vegas, and I can safely say you won't find a better value on sushi anywhere. No, this doesn't mean their fish is the freshest, nor of the caliber of some restaurants in major cities, like Flirt in NYC, however, for the price their sushi is unbeatable. I highly recommend the spicy scallop hand roll and the white tuna and scallion roll, both of which are excellent. Their tempura is crisp and delicious, and their edemame come coated in course salt which add a dynamic character to the dish. A word to the wise, avoid their house salad, the dressing is inconsistent and leaves much to be desired. All around, this restaurant is a pleasant suprise nestled in the middle of a college town. Just a note, they have been getting busier, so be prepared to wait as they do not accept reservations on the weekends.
i love omi. omi is the greatest sushi restaraunt in the world. ive been to many other places,(most of which gave me a stomach ache) but i liked omi the best. they also have this stuff called orangina, which is sort of like orange soda, that i love, and the food is great. the service is exceptional, the portions are great, the sushi, even if you are allergic, the sushi is still great. if you go, i encourage you to try the eel rolls, tempora, and california rolls. Have fun!
Authentic Japanese Dishes. The only bad thing about OMI is that they don't serve liqour. All the food, especially the portions, are exceptional. Highly Recomended.
