Bad service great food.
I'm allergic to peanut butter and ordered something that really I didn't know would have peanut butter in it, cold sesame noodle.
I told them I wanted something else and they told me that they could get me something else at 15% off. "Your kidding?" I said. I went into a 10 minute long argument with a lady whom I had problems with before but not as bad. She told me I should have asked if I had food allergies. Honestly, who puts peanut butter in noodles? I asked my friends who were either first generation amaericans or had parents from Asia and they told me it does happen but only with a specific style, Tai.
Also their english is almost non-existant. I tell them a landmark two blocks away from them (since I work within down town east lansing) and it took me 5 minutes for them to know where I was, the Marriot hotel.
They have good food but if your willing to stand the horrible service try at your own risk.
Horrid service and mediocre food. The driver got confused as to my location and my food took over an hour to get to me. Driver was audacious enough to ask for a tip. Operationally, not the best. The food was average, nothing that doesn't taste like it came from the bowels of the House of ING. Oh, yes, and if you order the Orange Chicken, don't be alarmed by the stuff that looks like it fell off of the bottom of someone's shoe, that is orange rind (I hope it is anyway).
Very poor customer service. The only reason this restaurant is still in business is because of its location. It's fairly close to the campus. The people behind the counter take no interest at all in helping customers. Very rude and treat all customers like they are a bother to them. Don't bother to go. I would rate it the worst restaurant in the Lansing area.
WORST SERVICE EVER......IF RESPECT YOURSELF DON'T GO TO RICE KITCHEN.
I have ordered many times previous to tonight. I have dietary restrictions so it is hard for me to eat at many restaurants. I used to love Rice Kitchen. I called to tell them that they gave me the wrong food, and which I couldn't eat, because there was something I couldn't eat in my food. They laughed at me. Told me I was lying, and hung up on me. I called back to let them know, this is no way to treat someone who is paying for the food. And the women on the phone, who lied to me about her name and the manager's name. Began to swear at me. I let her know I was going to loge a complaint and she still did not care, and kept on swearing. I told her, that I will be contacting her manager in the morning, and she said, "I don't care, I hate this F***ing job".She then told me, I lied because I did not call until an hour and 15 minutes after I ordered, and that is because it took over an hour to get here, but she claims I lied about that also. After that, I hung up the phone and began to write this.
Do Not Order from Rice Kitcehn On Grand River. It is a waste of money...and time..
