Excellent Pasta and good beer.. We came here for Mother's Day 2007. The food was excellent and relatively quick considering the size of our party (9). I even took home some of my Pollo Alfredo that I couldn't finish and it was still delicious the next day. The cheese hadn't seperated from the oil like from other Italian places(Carrabba's, etc).

The only knock I could say was they seemed understaffed, our waitress was waiting on another party of 8 and 2 other tables.

My New Favorite Italian Restaurant!. We were invited my another couple to this restaurant on New Year's Eve, because they love it! I see why. It was quite, peaceful, clean, waitress was friendly and fun! Food selection was awesome. I wanted to try everything. Food was hot, delicious and perfect flavors. Best Italian Restaurant in the area. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Great Food and Fine Service. I've eaten here several times and think this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the greater Landing area. The food is great and always tastes fresh, the service is friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable and on occasion they'll offer you samples of new dishes they're trying out. The decor is fun and I've always had a great time at Carmelo's -- give it a try, you won't be sorry!

CARMELOS IS GREAT. THE SERVICE WAS FAST, AND FRIENDLY.

THE FOOD WAS A GOOD VALUE..THE HIGHEST PRICED ITEM WAS ONLY 9.95(LUNCH)

THE BACKGROUND MUSIC WAS SOFT, AND PLEASANT.

THE AMBIENCE WAS QUAINT, AND ROMANTIC.

GREAT PLACE,GIVE IT A TRY!

Over priced average food. I had a disappointing experience at Carmelo's. Very slow service. We all thought the food was average at best and the prices were way too high (about $15 per lunch and that did not include drinks) The atmosphere is a cheap noisy diner. There are better deals around.

carmelos the best. carmelos has by far the best italian food in mid michigan. i am italiaian and the food is even better than what i grew up on. the service was excellent. they really make you feel as though you are in their home. i understand this is something they pride themselves on. the ambiance is like a small italian restaurant in new york or new jersey. the smells were incredible. i would reccommend carmelo's to anyone.
