A lodging staple for budget-minded road-trippers and business travelers..
In Short
Since the Ramada brand made its debut in 1954 in Flagstaff, Ariz., the hotel franchise has been offering dependable accommodations with budget-wise perks. Families appreciate the kids-stay-free policy for children 17 and under staying with their parents. Other amenities usually include a swimming pool, full-service restaurant, lounge, in-room data ports and voice mail. Group rates--for wedding parties, corporate groups or family reunions--are available for parties requiring 10 or more rooms per night.

AVOID THIS ONE!!!.
The Ramada Inn on Trowbridge Rd. in East Lansing......Avoid at all costs......very run down, lots of "out of order" signs, pool is filthy as are the surrounding grounds.......in a dismal location although you couldn't detect that from the photos on Expedia.........internet bookings are convenient, but, unfortunately you never know what you're really getting......better to find someone who knows the area and it's hotels......this Ramada was truly awful........should have known something was up when the hotel clerk had to put down the small infant he was "babysitting" in order to check us in.........steer clear of this one!
