Awesome burgers, great college atmosphere and MSU tradition. I love the Peanut Barrel - it not only has the best atmosphere around, but the best mushroom swiss burger too! This place rocks and the food is very good quality, plus you can eat peanuts all day long and throw the shells onto the ground. It's a must go if you're ever in East Lansing!

Relaxed atmosphere and lots of fun!. You know it's officially spring in East Lansing when the Peanut Barrel starts providing their outdoor seating right on Grand River Ave. No better place to have a burger and share a pitcher of Blue Moon! They're also famous for their Long Island Iced Tea. Great location in the middle of downtown East Lansing, and fun during the afternoon or night.

best in mid-michigan!. P.B. is the best place in the greater Lansing area to enjoy a cold beer and eat a great sandwich!
