Great Place for Shoes

When I lived in the Lansing area, this was the only place I could find shoes AND get good, solid advice about what to do when I needed something different (e.g. Nike changed the design of their Air Pegasus which I wore religiously and the staff at Playmakers helped me find a comparable, if not better Adidas shoe to replace it).
- Pros: Knowledgeable staff, abundant selection.
- Cons: Prices average to higher than average.

Excellence, Quality and Value at Playmaker

I have purchased all of my family's athletic shoes at Playmaker. Granted they are a "little" pricey; however, they conquer that with their fabulous service on the sale. They actually *care* about how your shoes fit to the point that if problems aris, they allow returns after the shoes have been worn. Where would you find that?? I appreciate quality and that is what they demonstrate and represent. I drive over two hours to purchase shoes here and will not purchase anywhere else and I've been doing this for many years.
This is not an exageration at all. These are good people who can work with any type of child for footwear and that's important. They actually really do want you to go home with quality merchandise and, they'll spend all the time they can to make that happen.
