Yum!. Oh my word! I idly asked my hair cutter for any good places to eat in Old Town and she asked me if I'd eaten at Golden Harvest yet. I hadn't so I grabbed and friend and we headed there the next day. The outside was a little scary, but we braved it and entered. What a treat was in store for us! The breakfasts rival any that you'll find in fine restaurants -- fresh, natural, abundant, and flavorful! There's LOTS to look at while you are waiting for your food to come and the regulars help themselves to coffee refills and even leave their payment on the counter. Golden Harvest is awesome. Be prepared to wait for a table sometimes; this quaint eatery is extremely popular!
Me stu. everyone loves this place when you come here you'll wait out side yell who's the last person find your place go in get coffee then wait for a truely fab breakfest the help is great it's fun watching the cook
Worth the wait!!.
This is a fantastic restaurant, I have been eating here for years. Even when I lived out of town for a time I would stop in every time I came to see my family. There is a variety of options to suit most dietary needs.
There is only one small problem, and that is the wait (at least during any time one would normally go out to eat. I have been told that weekday mornings are busy, but no real wait.) On weekends I am not surprised to wait maybe an hour or so? But as I said in my headline, it is well worth it taking that time to chat with a friend while waiting for some fantastic foods!
Only for the cool. funky and fun - great food - terrific mix of people with lots of laughing and hugging - service is slow but well worth the wait- it is a time to visit, read, relax.
