Every Chance we get we go to Lansing To Eat Here!!!. Lansing is about 60 miles away .... but any excuse to go is a chance to eat at Emil's. and that excuse might be I am hungry for .... Italian. I have only had one meal that I consider above a good rating. ... the rest have been excellent. I need to go to Lansing to say Hi to Paul (the owner) might as well eat there again.. Keep up the Super work. Chuck

People think this place is good??. Big disappointment. I went to Emil's last weekend for the first time in several years. My "salad" was literally a plate of iceberg lettuce with a small, thin slice of tomato on top. The whole thing was swimming in ranch dressing. Someone there doesn't know that lettuce is lettuce and salad, by definition, means roughly "lots of stuff in it." The bread seemed like it came from a loaf of white bread purchased from a grocery store. Carabba's has MUCH better bread than this. My dining companion and I both ordered the lasagna. Very small portion for $10 (smaller than a single-serving size Stouffer's lasagna), surrounded by tons of tomato sauce. I suspect all the sauce was there to disguise the puny portion of lasagna. Honestly, I've had much better Italian food at chain restaurant. If people think this stuff is excellent, they don't know what Italian food is.

Authentic Italian. Let me start by saying the food is some of the most authentic I have been able to find in Lansing. While growing up my grandparent woulds always cook Italian meals seeing how there parents were from Italy. Eating at Emil's brings back the memories of the meals that my grandparents would make. The price is alo extremely well and the atmosphere is awesome!

a nice plce to go with friends and family. I love to go to emils two reasons, 1) the food is good 2) the look is perfect for a fun night out if you want to dress up with friends or family and go out to enjoy yourself.
