Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.

disapointment time and time again. As I have been to Houlihan's in other cities many times, I am very displeased with this one. I have been to this restaurant 4 times now and will never go back. The first time i went there, I arrived with a large group and we were waiting for our seats. It took us 1 hour and 30 minutes before we were seated. This is understandable seeing how we did have a large group, but we also called ahead and told them. They also seated others that had arrived after us before they seated us. These people were seated in the same sections we were waiting for. When I said something to the manager, He said, "what do you want me to do about it? You have a large group." After being seated I went to use the restrooms and they were very unclean. There was a dirty diaper there and water all over the floor along with trach all over the floor. I went back in the same restroom 2 hours later and the mess was still there.

Another time there the manager asked me to put out my cigar while I was sitting in the smoking section. Before I had started smoking, I checked with the server to see if it was ok and she assured me it was. After the manager asked me to put it out, he insulted me to the table sitting next to me had made a complaint. Very unproffessional.

i did go back to the Houlihan's once more when I was told it was under new management. I was very displeased to see the restrooms a mess still and the confusion on how to seat people in a timely fashion to a table.

I will not be going back!
