Worst steak I've ever had. Their steak tastes like Pam cooking spray and old blood. They need to get it together, felt like someone stole $100 from me and then kicked me in the stomach

Overpriced. I ordered the Medici steak, and I must say it didn't taste like anything at all. The service was good but the food left quite a bit to be desired. My date got the Walleye and didn't enjoy it at all either. Very disappointing for close to a $100 meal. Would not go back.

Not my cup of tea.... My girlfriend and I had dinner here at about 7pm on a Friday night. We were greeted and seated promptly, the staff was courteous, and we were well attended to. That?s about the point where my pleasant dining experience ended. I was put off by the sight of the dining room. It was so crowded with tables that there was perhaps 10 inches passage with only enough room to sidestep between. I chalked this up to some sort of effort at coziness and pressed on. As the meal progressed coziness became intrusion as we became privy to almost every word, in every conversation, at every table around us. Our own conversation became laborious trying to talk around everyone else. Add to this having a servers derriere pass inches from my head (not to mention my meal) is not my idea of an enjoyable atmosphere. As for the food, from my experience that night, I don?t see the basis for the reputation. It was completely mediocre. I don?t recommend them?I won?t be back.

Excellent steak and service. I just came from having dinner at this restaurant. It has always been an excellent experience eating at this restaurant. The waitress is always courteous and food is excellent. The only downside to this restaurant is that due to the size of the place, if there are people smoking at the bar the smell will flow throught the place and you come out smelling of smoke. Otherwise I will definetely recomment this place for an excellent Fillet Mignon done to perfection.

Small, friendly with delicious food. Just visited from Chicago, and the Radisson recommended the Knight Cap. The restaurant was full and I was on my own, so I ate at the bar. Very friendly regulars, and the lamb chops were absolutely amazing.

Good Place to Eat. I went to the Knight Cap for a business dinner. It was a little cramped, but the staff did everything they could to accomodate us. The food was good and the service was good. Quite a nice little place in Lansing.

Charming. The Knight Cap has been one of Lansing's favorite restaurants for years. I love going for the atmosphere and reputation, however, the last several times that I have been in the food quality has declined.
