Costly

Don't leave a tip unless you're feeling really generous. The prices are a little on the high side and they push call brand liquor. Example: Whisky and 7Up. What kind of whiskey? Don't care. Jack Daniels okay? Also, if you haven't been there, a generous gratuity is added in. I wasn't aware of it so my server got a 30% tip. We had a time limit we could sit at our table, (we had about 10 people from work out to celebrate) had to move to the bar. I wasn't impressed enough to give them a second chance.
Great atmosphere !

What a great Irish style pub / restaurant ! My wife and I have brought both sides of our family here from out of town and everyone still raves about it. Portions are huge, consider sharing if your appetite is smaller. Appetizers are all wonderful. Service is prompt and professional. Beer selection is excellent. Parking is not as bad as one of the reviewers claimed, there is plenty in front of the book store. Prices are reasonable for the portion size and quality. This will be a regular stop for many years. Enjoy.
Best Irish Pub in Lansing

This place has great food and great service. There was plenty of cariety on the menue and the food was also excellent. They alos have some of the hard to find beers that many people look for!
Great food and atmosphere but too expensive

I love Claddagh's! It has wonderful atmosphere and wonderful food and drinks. The only drawback for me is the price. You can expect to pay about $6-7 for one of their drinks. The food is also a little pricey but I can understand it more because it's a bit more exotic (mussles and such). You can expect to walk a little because parking is scarce but it's well worth it for a nice night out. Very classy. A great place to bring a date because of all the little nooks you can cuddle up in.
- Pros: Atmosphere, food and drink
- Cons: expensive and parking is hard to find
great beer, tasty irish food, fun outdoor seating

Claddagh is one of my favorite hangouts in East Lansing. They have a great selection of beer and even better food (is that possible?). If you are not a beer drinker, they also have yummy frou frou drinks. Although this is a traditional Irish pub, this is much classier than the other Irish establishments in the area.
- Pros: excellent food and drinks, outdoor seating
- Cons: parking can be a battle on the weekends
Ireland here we come

Very traditional Irish decoration. Beautiful place with an old fashioned atmosphere. Food is expensive and the menu does not offer much of a selection. Staff is friendly and efficient. Great location too! Close to theatres and shopping.
- Pros: great location, friendly staff, upbeat
- Cons: expensive
Unique restaurant attracts plenty

This is another one of my favorites since I've moved to mid-Michigan. The fish and chips are the best in the surrounding 50 miles and the beverage choices are plentiful. Staffed with competent and usually beautiful people, Claddagh's is great from appetizer to dessert. And you wouldn't think their desserts would be their forte, but alas, their bread pudding or White Chocolate Creme Brulee compete against some of the finer restaurants I have been to and are reasonably priced.
- Pros: Great Food, Nice atmosphere
only go if u like Irish food

Claddagh Irish Pub is good for Irish people, like fish n chips or shepards pie, or that. Lotta beer and wine and whiskey though.
- Pros: Great Irish food
